Mr. Gary Glenn Cutler, Sr., age 65,  a resident of 616 St. Lewis Road, Macclesfield, NC, died Wednesday night, August 29, 2012, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 1, 2012, at Piney Grove Cemetery, officiated by Rose Alligood. Steele Cox, Bill Cox, Jim Cox, Darrell Whitley, Allen Webb and Walter Hagans will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Cutler was born in Beaufort County on August 24, 1947, son of the late John William Cutler, Jr. and Rosa Lee Perry Cutler. He was employed as a carpenter with National Spinning. He loved to hunt and his dogs.
He is survived by his niece: Valerie Webb and husband, Phil of Macclesfield; great niece: Vanessa Whitley of Washington and his caregiver and best friend: Tony Taylor of Macclesfield. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sons: Gary Glenn Cutler, Jr. and John Harding Cutler, his nephew: Bill Pinkham and his sister: Barbara Ann Pinkham. The family extends special thanks to Steele and Brenda Cox for their help over the years.
The family will receive friends 7:00-9:00 PM Friday at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington and other times at the home.
