J. Gatlin White, Sr. 99, of U.S. 13 North, Windsor, died Wednesday Sept. 5, 2012, at Vidant Bertie Memorial Hospital. A funeral will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Edgewood Baptist Church by the Rev. Chris Lee. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at Edgewood Baptist Church Fellowship Hall and at other times from the home.
