John Arthur Cradle, 74, a resident of 91 Magnolia School Road, Washington, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at Gateway Church of Christ Disciples of Christ. The family will receive friends at the home of Ms. Irene Credle, 111 Sandpointe Drive, Washington. Visitation is from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. today in the chapel of Whitfield & Whitley Funeral Home, Washington.
