Mr. Malcolm Price Rowe, age 81, a resident of 290 N. 7th St., Aurora, died Thursday, September 6, 2012, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Pamlico Memorial Gardens and will be conducted by Mike Hoffman. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.
Mr. Rowe was born in Beaufort County on July 17, 1931, to the late John Small Rowe and Myrtle Warren Rowe. On December 30, 1948, he married Pauline Elizabeth Brantley who preceded him in death on February 2, 2011. He was a graduate of Aurora High School, member of Aurora Baptist Church and owned Rowe’s Appliance of Aurora.
Survivors include two children: Malcolm Price Rowe, Jr. and wife Nancy of Washington, NC, and Deborah Saunders and husband Kirby of Wilson, NC, one sister: Patsy Rowe Bundy of Short Hills, NJ,  sister-in-law: Sallie Brantley of Aurora, NC, four grandchildren: Stacy Brooks and husband Milton of Washington, NC, Katie Clark and husband Joel of Knightdale, NC, Lauren Rowe of Greenville, NC and Lindsay Gurganus and husband Russ of Washington, NC, two great-grandchildren: Alexis and Bryson Brooks of Washington, NC and two nieces: Anne Long of Washington, NC and Carolyn Ewing of Cary, NC. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
