Elva Rae Ambrose Bowen, 86, a resident of Plymouth died Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at Roanoke Landing Nursing Center in Plymouth.

A funeral service will be held Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth, with Bob Moulden officiating. Burial will follow in Long Acre Chapel Christian Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home and other times at the residence of her daughter June B. Morris. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
