Trudy Elizabeth Hoell Herring, 60, of 972 Dupree Moore Road, Stokes, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at Roanoke River Rehabilitation Center. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at the Walker Funeral Home Chapel in Williamston, with the Rev. Tommy Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Hoell family cemetery on Leggett Mill Road. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, Sept. 19 from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and other times at 1130 Leggett Mill Rd. Walker Funeral Home of Williamston is serving the Herring family.
