Laura Lee Langston

Laura Lee Langston, 52, of Stokes, died Sept. 14, 2012, at the Vidant Medical Center Inpatient Hospice. She was preceded in death by her father George C. Langston, and her brother-in-law Ronald L. Capps.
Survivors include her mother, Noelyne Langston of Lillington; two sisters, Georgina and husband David Quinn of Greenville and Noelyne Mary Langston of Fayetteville; two nephews, Aaron and Ian Quinn of Greenville, and niece Lauren Quinn of Greenville; uncles Alex O’Hara-Close and wife Monette of Queensland, Australia, and John O’Hara-Close and wife Yvonne of New South Wales, Australia, their children and grandchildren, as well as numerous friends and cousins.
Laura was born in Tucson, AZ, and reared in the Anderson Creek community of Lillington. She attended public school in Anderson Creek, graduated with an associate degree from Pitt Community College and attended East Carolina University.
A memorial service will be held at the Greenville Town Commons on First Street, Sunday, Sept. 23, at 3 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Vidant Medical Center Inpatient Hospice, or to the Southeastern Cancer Care organization, www.southeasterncancercare.org.
