The Pitt County Chapter of the American Red Cross will offer Disaster Services: An Overview from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26. Participants will learn how Red Cross volunteers prepare for and respond to disasters in the community, and how they can help the community in time of a disaster. Volunteers are needed in all areas of disaster response.
