Ms. Janet Lee Balzer Respess, age 58, a resident of Dan Taylor Road, Washington, died Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Ware’s Chapel United Methodist Church and will be conducted by Rev. Joan Fisher.
Ms. Respess was born March 27, 1954, to Richard and Dorothy Parvin Balzer who survive. She was a retired veterinarian technician with Tar River Animal Hospital, was an avid lover of horses and was a member of Ware’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her parents, Richard and Dorothy Parvin Balzer of Washington, two sisters, Anna Balzer Edwards and husband Jay of Washington and Kathy Balzer Giacchello of Italy.
The family will receive friends at the home of her parents, Richard and Dorothy Balzer, 196 Dan Taylor Road, Washington.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ware’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 2788 N. Market St. Ext., Washington, NC 27889.
