Sandy L. Slade Jr., 59, a resident of 13699 U.S. 264 E., Swan Quarter, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at his home. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at Jobe’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 121 Quarter Road, Swan Quarter. Levi Murray will officiate. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Greenhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home. Arrangements are by Bonner Street Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
