According to a press release from N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries, the Southern Flounder Fishery Management Plan Advisory Committee will meet Oct. 17 at 6 p.m., at the N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources Regional Office, 943 Washington Square Mall, Washington.
On the agenda is a call to review public comments regarding the revised sustainable harvest issue paper and revised gear requirements in the flounder gill net fishery issue paper for Amendment 1 to the Southern Flounder FMP, said the release. A public comment period will follow.
