Joseph Lee Thomas, 68, of 150 S. Fifth St., Mount Vernon, died October 12, 2012, at Moneforie Medical Center. A funeral will be held Friday, October 19, 2012, at Second Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Hubert Judon officiating. Burial will follow in Second Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at Toodle’s Funeral Home, Plymouth, and other times at the home of his sister, Evelyn Wynn, 2639 Woodlawn Road, Roper.
