Sound Off, Oct. 19

Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.

This is a message for all the people in Washington who are pet owners, specifically who own dogs: please do not put them out in your yard at 7 o’clock in the morning to allow them to bark to wake people up who can at least sleep maybe until 8 or 9 o’clock, especially on the weekends. Please be considerate of your neighbors, and if you hear your dog barking, please do something about it.

I would like to address the people in Washington and other areas as Thanksgiving and Christmas approach. Please use “Merry Christmas” and not “Happy holidays.” We are forgetting what the true meaning of Christmas is all about. May God bless you all.
