Sound Off, Oct. 27

Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.
I believe with the upcoming Hurricane Sandy passing by the Carolina coast, the city should cancel Smoke on the Water. No one will be able to enjoy it, especially Friday night and Saturday. And it would be a safety issue as well because we all know Stewart Parkway floods when it rains hard. But I don’t hold my breath.
Editor’s note: Washington Noon Rotary is in charge of Smoke on the Water, not the city.
