Recently, five Pungo Christian Academy students along with their Ag teacher and one parent joined 55,000 other FFA members and advisors from across the nation in Indianapolis, Ind., for the 85th National FFA Convention and Expo. The event took place Oct. 24-Oct. 27. The students went to the opening ceremony and listened to Scott Hamilton. They saw The Band Perry and Brantley Gilbert in concert, took a tour of Dow Agro Science’s global headquarters, watched a rodeo, saw a hypnotist show by Dr. Al Snyder and attended the FFA dance on their last night. It was a fun week learning how to grow in agriculture and also in everyday life. (Submitted Photo)
