Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.
I’d just like to ask why should the taxpayers continue to have to pay for recounts in elections when one of the candidates won’t concede and get out like he’s supposed to?
You know the only thing I don’t like about winning the lottery? They put your name and your picture in the news. Some states have a privacy law. The lottery winners do not have to be recognized or named, no pictures on TV, the news or in the lottery office. I think that’s what North Carolina should adopt. Because you know if you win something like that, every nutcase will be knocking at your door for a handout.
Why must the Christmas parade on Saturday interfere with so much traffic? Just keep it on Stewart Parkway or keep it on Main Street. There’s no reason to screw up traffic for everybody. … I ain’t got time to look at something silly like a Christmas parade.
