I live in Belhaven and I am ashamed of the Christmas lights. They are pitiful. It’s a disgrace to the town administration to have such a sorry display of Christmas lights.
The residents of Beaufort County outside of Washington should do their shopping in Greenville until the county commissioners take the necessary action to give equal representation to all areas of the county. We need to play hardball on this issue. No shopping without representation.
I was just wondering if there’s any groups out there doing caroling that invite people to join them. If so, please call Sound Off and tell us about it.
Thank you to the City of Washington for the new Christmas wreathes on the waterfront and the pretty, warm lights on Main Street. We’re enjoying them during this season.
