Stacy Marie Shavender and Douglas Swindell were married October 20, 2012, in a private ceremony at four in the afternoon at Circle Grove Farm, Belhaven, NC. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Dean Owens.
The bride is the daughter of Buddy and Marya Shavender of Belhaven, NC. The groom is the son of Ronnie and Annette Swindell of Scranton, NC, and the grandson of Jim and Frances Forge of Washington, NC,  and Charlie F. Foster of Pamlico Beach.
The bride was escorted by her father. Attending her as matron of honor was Tracy Shavender Brown of Greenville, NC. Ronnie Swindell of Scranton served as best man to the groom.
The couple will reside in Scranton, NC.
