William Harold Baum, 93, of Mt. Tabor Road, Creswell, died December 27, 2012, at his residence.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired teacher in the Tyrrell County School System.

Mr. Baum is survived by his wife Elna O. Baum of Creswell; one son, William C. Baum, also of Creswell, along with nieces and nephews and cousins.

A funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Church of Christ. Visitation will be held at the church Thursday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
