Possession charges for Chocowinity man

A Chocowinity man was arrested on Jan. 17, and charged with three counts of possession with intent to sell marijuana and three counts possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to a press release from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit, investigators had made marijuana purchases from Charles Pierce, 33, of Carrow Road, before his arrest.
“He’s been selling marijuana and we’ve been buying from him,” said a spokesman for the drug unit.
Pierce was detained in the Beaufort County Detention Center under an $8,000 secured bond.
