On Saturday, Mac Skillen (left) and Jay Jackson, both eighth-graders at P.S. Jones Middle School, performed with the All-District Middle School Band in Wright Auditorium at East Carolina University. Beaufort County is one of 30 counties in the Eastern District of the North Carolina Bandmasters Association.
