Cash and Meds stolen in Break-in

Deputy Kelly Cox of the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office arrested Brandi Cooke Foster, 22, of DL Drive, Washington, on Sunday. Foster was charged with breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and misdemeanor larceny.
The afternoon of March 3, deputies were called out to a report of a vehicle break-in on DL Drive. The victim of the break-in reported that cash and medication were taken from the vehicle. After interviews and evidence were collected, Foster was arrested and held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $5,000 secured bond.
A spokesman for the sheriff’s office said some of the stolen cash was recovered during the investigation.
