Lori Samsel Wallace, age 50, a resident of 302 Pamlico Drive, Pamlico Village, Washington, NC, went to her eternal home Wednesday, March 13, 2013.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the First Baptist Church in Washing- ton officiated by Dr. Jimmy Moore. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until the service hour at the church and other times at the home in Pamlico Village. Lori was born in Jacksonville, Florida on November 16, 1962, the daughter of the late Albin Walter Bobinski and Elizabeth Ann Freeman. She married Fenner Andrew Wallace on May 22, 1993. She was employed with Carver Machine Works where she worked for 24 years. Lori’s smile was infectious and she was the light in many lives. Lori was always there for everyone she knew and even those she hardly knew. Her warm heart and open arms will be deeply missed.
Lori is survived by her husband Fenner Andrew “Andy” Wallace of the home, son Jarrett Wallace of Greenville, NC; daughter Andrea Andrews and husband Jake of Denver, CO; mother Elizabeth “Liz” Freeman and hus- band Don of Greenville, NC; stepsisters, Deanie Pow- ell and husband Forrest and Paula Littke and husband Brian: stepsister-in-law Marjorie Freeman; her aunts: Joyce Deans and husband Bobby, Geraline Dail and hus- band Henry, Janette Fulghum and husband James Rob- ert and Karen Crowley and husband Buck, uncles: Fred Winborne and wife Sue and Donald Winborne and wife Cathi, sisters-in-law: Melanie Buckman and husband Tommy, Leslie Thomas and husband Wofford and Patsy Wallace, numerous great-aunts, great-uncles and many loving cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Albin W. Bobinski, brother Jay Samsel, step- brother Donald Freeman Jr. and aunt Roberta Seng and husband Peter.
