Mrs. Lena Mizelle Cowan 84, of 120 Askewville Road, Askewville, died Friday, March 15, 2013, at Vi- dant Bertie Memorial Hospital. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Askewville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Billy Presley officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
