Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

Dixon
Here’s Dixon, a 2-year-old, male, Yellow Labrador-mix dog. Dixon is a loveable, people-loving, friendly and playful dog, with a sweet face and a rosy nose. He was found on the corner of Turkey Trot and Neck Road. Dixon has had some training and he needs a good forever home.
Carl
Meet Carl our European shorthair mix cat. Carl is a 2-year-old male with a gorgeous coat of pale cinnamon, buff and cream tabby. His huge round eyes are bright and golden. Carl has a playful and loving nature. He is undemanding and requires little grooming, but he does love to be brushed and cuddled.
