Mrs. Estelle Arnold Dixon, 77, of Pactolus, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013.

A graveside service will be conducted on Friday at 11 am in Pinewood Memorial Park.

Mrs. Dixon, a native of Pitt County, traveled with her husband in the military for 26 years and had made her home in Pactolus since 1976. She was employed as a cashier at ABC Stores in Pitt County until her retirement.

Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Homer O. Dixon in 1990; her parents, Willie and Pearl Arnold; sisters, Dorothy Stokes and Helen Clark and brothers, Alton, Earl and Donald Ray Arnold.

She is survived by: sisters, Nell A. Smith and husband, Johnny, of Mt. Olive, Annie A. Lilley and husband, Floyd, and Betty Faye Chauncey and husband, Steve, all of Chocowinity.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6–8 pm at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
