Mr. Keith Omar Fields, 28, of 1406 Mackey’s Road, Plymouth, died Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Washington County Hospital.

A funeral will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at First Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Welch officiating and eulogy by the Rev. Roger Hayes.

Keith was born on May 5, 1984, in Chowan County. He was the son of Sammy Fields and Chevelle Johnson Fields. He was a member of First Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church and Church of the Holy Spirit Fellowship (Winston-Salem). He was a student at UNC-G and a customer-service representative for Baptist Hospital.

Survivors include his father, Sammy Fields, Belvidere; mother, Chevelle J. Fields, Plymouth; two brothers, Sammy Fields Jr., Atlanta, Ga., Darrell Fields, Plymouth; sister, Victoria Fields, Plymouth; paternal grandmother, Alice Fields, Raleigh; and maternal grandmother, Geraldine Davenport, Plymouth.

The family will receive friends at Toodle’s Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and other times at the home.
