Ethel Blanche Ange Gurganus

Ethel Blanche Ange Gurganus, 102, of Plymouth died Monday, May 13, 2013 at Roanoke Landing Nursing Center in Plymouth.
Born August 5, 1910 in Washington County she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. Ange and Virginia Ambrose Ange and was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Thornton Gurganus whom she married in 1936; sister, Eva Mae Ange Bowen; brothers, James Wilbur Ange, Joseph Leon Ange and Phillip S. Ange. Mrs. Gurganus was a homemaker and member of First Christian Church.
Her family includes a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 2:00 pm at First Christian Church, Plymouth with Reverend V. Tom Banks officiating. Burial will follow in Windley Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday at the church fellowship hall following the service and other times at the residence of Jean Beasley.
