Floyd McKinley Banks

Mr. Floyd McKinley Banks, age 70, a resident of Jones Circle, Chocowinity, NC, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center. A graveside celebration of his life will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Oakdale Cemetery officiated by Pastor Ray Webb. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
Floyd was born in Beaufort County on June 12, 1942 son of the late Mayo and Connie “Estelle” Wainwright Banks. He was the previous owner of Pamlico Auto Center of Washington.
Floyd is survived by his son, Scottie M. Banks of Greenville; his daughter, Tammy B. Starkie of Chocowinity; his brother, Jack Banks of Chocowinity; his sister, Barbara Banks; his grandchildren, Brittany, Christopher, LaCaria and Mason and his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Zadrian, Kayden and Lavianna.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Bonnie Martinez; his brother, Mayhew Banks; his sisters, Loretta Ward and Brenda Squires and his grandson, Johnathan Banks.
