Ms.Linda Estell Simpson, 68, of 205 Roanoke Ave., Plymouth, died May 15, 2013, at Washington County Hospital.

A funeral will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Spring Green Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) with Elder Stanley Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Ellis Lee Cemetery.

Ms. Simpson was born in Washington County on August 15, 1944. She was the daughter of the late Roy H. and Lula Patrick Simpson. She was a member of Spring Green Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) and a member of the Usher Board.

Survivors include two sons, Hamond Abdallah, Spanish Fork, Utah, Joseph James, Newburg, N.Y.; daughter, Stephanie James, Greenville; five brothers, Willie Warren Simpston, NJ, Joseph Simpson, Knightdale, David Simpson, Engelwood, NJ, Josephus Simpson, NY, Joseph Simpson, Mount Vernon; three sisters, Phillis Simpson, Isabella Simpson, both of Manhattan, Sally Moore, Plymouth; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 pm. to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Spring Green Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) and other times at the home.

Arrangements are by Toodle’s Funeral Home, Plymouth.
