Mrs. Rosa Mae McHargue Darden, 82, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Paul Darden; brother, Frank McHargue; and sister, Ruth Forney.

Mrs. Darden was a member of Gardners United Methodist Church of Fayetteville. She enjoyed her Thursday Morning bible study group, her bridge club, and attending social events. Mrs Darden (Roro) was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all.

She is survived by one daughter, Paula Darden Willey and husband, Tom, of Washington; one brother, Richard McHargue of Valdosta, GA; one sister, Doris Cassanova of Fayetteville; two granddaughters, Susan Willey Pintuff and husband, Jason, of Raleigh, and Gretchen Willey Beasley and husband, Troy, of Wilmington; one great-granddaughter, Lily Mae Pintuff; one great-grandson, Reid Thomas Pintuff; two special nieces, Mika McClure of Fayetteville, and Hayley Henderson of Clayton and many other beloved family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday May 31, 2013 at 11:00 am at Gardners United Methodist Church.  Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
