Mr. Lewis Bernard Surgeon Jr., 66, of 115 Bessie Lane, Windsor, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Vidant Bertie Memorial Hospital. A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Ross Baptist Church, with the Revs. Jeffery Russell and Roger Kiker officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the church’s cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, and other times at the home of Bunyan and Dorothy Keys, 613 Core Point Road, Blounts Creek.
