Mr. Harold R. Cooper, 79, of 100 Hummingbird Lane, Edward, died Friday, June 14, 2013, at Carolina East Medical Center. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, at New Bern Eastern Missionary Baptist Association, Grantsboro. Visitation is from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2013, at Whitfield & Whitley Chapel. The family will receive friends at the home. Arrangements are by Whitfield & Whitley Funeral Home, Washington.
