Mr. Lee Scott Alligood, age 62, a resident of 125 Singleton St., Washington, died Friday, June 21, 2013.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2013, at the Alligood family cemetery at 125 Singleton St., Washington, and will be conducted by Pastor Phillip Jethro.
Mr. Alligood was born in Beaufort County on Aug. 11, 1950, to the late James Robert Alligood and Sallie Ann Sheppard Alligood. He served 14 years as a dump truck driver for the NCDOT and attended Alligood Church of God.
Survivors include his fiancée, Jean Tyburski of Chocowinity, one sister, Judy Everette, three brothers, Ray Alligood and wife Betty, Ronald Alligood, William Alligood all of Washington and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, James Alligood, Murphy Alligood and Herbert Alligood.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home of his niece, Lisa Latham, 6760 U.S. Highway 264 E. Washington.
