Jonathan Jeffrey Lewis Moore,age 31 of 143 E. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive died Saturday, July 13, 2013 at  home.

 

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, July 19, 2O13 at Metropolitan AME Zion Church, 102 W. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Washington,NC. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

 

Jonathan was born on November 21, 1981 to David L. and Melinda S.  Moore Salisbury, North Carolina.

 

Jonathan attended the Washington City Schools and was an active member of WHS “Pam Pack: band. He graduated from North Carolina Central University

 

2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Business Management.

 

He was a founding member of the Metropolitan Property Management. He also worked with the First Time Home Ownership Program in Washington, Grifton, Greenville and as a certified Housing counselor.

 

Jonathan  was a member of Metropolitan  AME Zion Church where he served as church percussionist starting at a young age, church steward, chairman of the Board of Trustees, video and sound Director and a member of Pastor’s Appreciation  Committee.

 

Survivors: his parents, Revs. David & Melinda Moore of Washington,NC, 3 brothers: Dr. Joshua Moore (Dr. Shenita-Spencer Moore, Winston-Salem,NC, Rev. James Moore (Dr. Donneshia Moore), Greenville, NC and Joseph Moore of Washington, NC; grandmother, Mildred K. Randolph, 2 sisters in-kind, Fashikie Smith and Rochelle Boone, daughter in-kind Jalexys Smith,

 

a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

 

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, George & Dezzie Louns and paternal grandparents , John & Louise Moore.

 

Visltation will be on Thursday, July 18,2O13 at LR Randolph Memorial Chapel 5:00-7:00 pm. And other rimes at the home of his parents, 406 E. 5yh Street,

 

Washington.
