FOR HOPE, FOR THE WARRIORS: Saturday’s Hope for the Warriors golf tournament at Washington Yacht and County Club had a great turnout and great weather. Twenty-two teams joined up for the fundraiser where both N.C. Representative Paul Tine and U.S. Representative Walter B. Jones launched the play with inspirational words. All proceeds from the tournament went to Hope for the Warriors, a nonprofit organization that supplies vital support services to those wounded in the line of duty. See tournament winners below: third place winners, Adrian Waters, Eric Slade, Thomas Waters, William Woolard are not pictured.

First place winners with a score of 50 were, left to right, Nate Harrell, Kyle Woolard, TJ Stocks and Dustin Franklin.
