Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.  All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Leslie is a 2-year-old Tabby with an orange, silver and white silky coat. She has snow-white shoes and a lovely white vest.  Shown with her are two of her five babies; Sienna and Billy are six weeks old. Billy is a calm and highly affectionate orange tabby. Sienna is a Tortie with beautiful rich markings and a playful nature. Mom and her weaned babies are ready for their good forever homes and they are available through Saturday at the Shelter.  QUEENIE Greetings from Queenie, a 1-year-old, Retriever-mix, young adult, female dog.  Queenie is on the large size, friendly, sweet, gentle and very calm. Under her short white and tan coat, her skin is marked with brown dots and freckles; some freckles are scattered across her nose. Queenie needs a good forever home and she's available through Saturday at the Shelter.
