Alma Beaman Clark, age 85, a resident of Ridgewood Manor, Washington, NC passed away to be with her Lord, Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital. There will be a celebration of her life at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at St. Clair’s Church of Christ officiated by Craig Hagen. Burial will follow in the St. Clair’s Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, August 19, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Hillside Funeral Service, 4500 Hwy 264 E, Washington, NC and also following the service at the church. The family will also receive friends at the home of Linda Taylor, 100 Front St., Bath, NC.
Ms. Clark was born June 18, 1928 in Wilson County daughter of the late Fred and Ethel Uzzell Beaman. She was married to Lurel Malcolm Clark who preceded her in death on August 13, 1980. She was a homemaker and member of St. Clair’s Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Clark Taylor (Jimmy), Cindy Clark Taylor (Gary) and Patricia Clark Duffer (David) all of Bath, NC; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Clair’s Church of Christ, 9814 NC 99 Hwy S., Bath, NC 27808.
