Bobby B. Cuthrell

Bobby Birch Cuthrell, 77, of 21346 U. S. Highway 264-East, Pinetown, died late Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Born in Beaufort County, February 17, 1936, he was the son of the late John R. and Mary Gaskins Cuthrell. He was married to the former Betty Jean Woolard who survives. Bobby was a member of Free Union Original Free Will Baptist Church and the American Legion Post 249 , Belhaven. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed playing baseball with the Free Union Team in past years.
The family will receive friends at Free Union Original Free Will Baptist Church beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday evening followed by the funeral service at 7:30 p.m. The Rev. Tony Parrish will officiate. Burial will follow on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Yeatesville Cemetery. Rev. Joseph McGaha will officiate at the committal service.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Eric Cuthrell and his wife, Amy of Sharpsburg; three brothers, James Allen Cuthrell and wife, Mary of Pinetown, Floyd Cuthrell and wife, Carolyn of Chocowinity and George Cuthrell and wife, Luette of Washington; three sisters, Mildred Young of Pinetown, Doris Stotesberry and Pam Burbage both of Belhaven.
The family suggests that memorials, in his name, be directed to the Leo Jenkins Cancer Center, 600 Moye Blvd. Greenville NC 27834 or to the Marion Shepard Cancer Center, 1209 Brown Street, Washington NC 27889.
