Mr. Garland Edward Griffin Jr., of 1848 Cherry Run Road, Washington, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital. Washington. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at Saint John Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) with Elder Russell Wilkins officiating. Burial follows in Pamlico Memorial Gardens. The family is receiving friends at the home and viewing of the body is at Bonner Street Funeral Home, Washington, which is in charge of arrangements.
