Mrs. Bertha Naomi Simmons, 80, of 210 Brinkley Ave., Plymouth, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, at Second Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church with pastor Hubert Judon officiating. Burial follows in the church’s cemetery. Arrangements are by Toodle’s Funeral Home, Plymouth.
