Joan Blondell Gibbs, formerly of Hyde County, died Oct. 17, 2013, at Brooklyn Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y. A funeral will be held Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at noon at Mt. Pilgrim Disciple Church of Christ in Engelhard. The family will receive friends at the home of Doris Weston in Engelhard. Arrangements are by Rowsom Funeral Home, Columbia.
