EES students practice counting with pumpkins

: BEAUFORT COUNTY SCHOOLS | CONTRIBUTED DEEP-SEEDED: Students in Sherry Stotesbury and Gale Sullivan’s first-grade class at Eastern Elementary School have been learning about pumpkins. Gabe Davis, Kha’Myah Hansley and Derrick Morgado work hard to remove the seeds from their pumpkin.

: BEAUFORT COUNTY SCHOOLS | CONTRIBUTED SEEDS OF KNOWLEDGE: Madison Swanner, Ivy Perry, Terryton Burrus and David Morales are proud to display their seed count of 500 seeds on their white board.

: BEAUFORT COUNTY SCHOOLS | CONTRIBUTED WHAT COUNTS: Brayden Taylor, Jeremiah Satchell and Kathya Reyes take their pumpkins seeds and put them on a one-hundreds frame. This will make it easier for them to count their seeds in groups of 10.
