Mr. Chester Allen “C.J.” Davenport Jr., 62, of Plymouth, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth, with the Rev. Leonard Bowers officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
