Mrs. Hattie Elizabeth Moore Peed, 106, a resident of River Trace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center,  Washington, and formerly of Chocowinity, died Friday, Dec. 20, 2013. The family is receiving friends at the home of Jimmy and Lucy Harper, 1556 N.C. Highway 33 East, Chocowinity. Arrangements will be announced by Whitfield & Whitley Funeral Home, Washington.
