Mrs. Lillian Warren Smith, 82, of Havelock, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Havelock, and a civil-service retiree. She is predeceased by her husband, Hyman “L” Smith Jr.

She is survived by one son, Sheldon L. Smith and wife, Holly, of Beaufort; one daughter, Gwen S. Holt and husband, Bob, of Havelock; three sisters, Inez Johnson, Patsy Boyd and Darlaine Ciesko, all of Washington; seven grandchildren, Justin, Kimberly, Brandon, Casey, Melissa, Danny Jr. and Staci; and five great-grandchildren, Danny III, Jackson, Jillian, Bentley and Kylie.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30,, 2013, at Cotton Chapel with Dr. Donald Hadley officiating. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
