Majorie Lovie Forney, 80, a resident of Virginia Beach, VA, transitioned into her Heavenly Home on December 25, 2013. Born in Columbia, NC, she was the daughter of the late Winfield and Lillie Norman Baum. She is survived by her husband Ferry Forney, a daughter, Selena Halsey of MD; a sister, Flora Boston of NC; three brothers, Joseph, James, and Norman Baum; 3 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Oakwood Chapel Church Disciples of Christ, 982 Avenue E, Norfolk, VA 23513. A visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service. The interment will be on Monday, January 6^th at 10:00 a.m. Flowers will be accepted.
