Mrs. Vertie Lee Worsley Rome, 76 a resident of Ridgewood Manor nursing home, and formerly of 30 Turkey Trot Road No. 1, Washington, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at St. John Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ), Washington. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at Whitfield & Whitley Chapel. The family is receiving friends at the home of Stacy Worsley, 1005 Trade St., Washington.
