Mr. Roy Chester Hines, 83, of 8160 N.C. Highway 32 North, Roper, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, at Bethel Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ), Roper, with Elder Jeffrey Hines officiating. Burial follows in the Hines family cemetery. Visitation is from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at the church. Arrangements are by Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service, Roper.
