The following events have been postponed, canceled or rescheduled:

• Beaufort County Schools closed Friday.

• Beaufort County Community College closed Friday.

• Washington Montessori Public Charter School closed Friday.

• Beaufort County District Court closed Friday.

• Beaufort County Superior Court delayed, starts at 10 a.m. Friday.

• The Estate Transition and Success Planning workshop scheduled for today the Vernon James Research and Extension Center in Plymouth has been postponed because of inclement weather.

• The Columbia Road Show meeting has been rescheduled for 8 a.m. Feb. 10, beginning with breakfast at the Columbia Crossing Restaurant.

• The Beaufort County Jail Committee meeting originally scheduled for Thursday has been rescheduled for 3 p.m. Monday in the commissioners’ meeting room located in the county administrative offices, 121 W. Third St., Washington.
